In February, AACE hosted members of the NHS Muslim Women’s Network to facilitate a conversational event that focused on three main outcomes: To explore and understand intersectional experiences and perspectives of Muslim women from different cultural, social and religious backgrounds. To challenge and break stereotypes and misconceptions about Muslim women by providing a platform for open and respectful dialogue. To discuss the challenges and barriers faced by Muslim women and what this means for the ambulance sector.
